1.
Individual
Psychotherapy
I provide a safe, non-judgmental and collaborative "holding space" for us to do our work together. So whatever brings you to therapy - past trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood etc - together we assess your current situation, determine your goals and begin the rewarding journey towards increased self-awareness, enhanced coping strategies and improved relationships.
2.
Couples
Therapy
Through identifying negative cycles of interaction, I help you address underlying fears and needs in your relationships. The goal is to help both partners learn to turn toward each other, to communicate more effectively and to become more open and responsive to each other.
3.
Family
Therapy
While I have trained in family therapy, I currently use family systems theory in individual therapy to enhance one's understanding of one's self and one's relationships.
We are all part of many systems: families, neighborhoods, cultural systems, etc and I believe an awareness of how these systems impact us, enhances our understanding of ourselves and our ability to make choices from an empowered place.
My Approach
My practice is informed by my holistic, humanistic and trauma-sensitive approach. I am passionate about creating a healing, supportive and safe space for clients to evolve and reach their highest potential.

About me
Some of my trainings include post-graduate study in family systems theory at the Ackerman Institute for the Family; rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) at the Albert Ellis Institute; sexuality at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy; EMDR Levels 1, 2 and 3; and AF-EMDR with Laurel Parnell, PhD; Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at NY Insight Meditation Center; Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) at NYCEFT.
